Official Contest Rules

"We're Going to Hollywood" 

1. Eligibility: The promotion is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
   • Must be residents of Western Kentucky/Tennessee, aged 13 and above.
   • Must be registered participants in the Purchase District Pageant scheduled for July 27th, 2024. 
   • Must apply and have all fees paid in full by June 30th, 2024.
   • Must comply with all other terms and conditions outlined in these official contest rules and the “Rules and Code of Conduct” outlined on the Purchase District Pageant website.
2. Promotion Period:  The promotion begins on February 22nd and ends on June 30th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Central Time ("Promotion Period").
3. How to Enter: To enter the promotion, participants must:
   • Register for the Purchase District Pageant by submitting a completed application form and payment.
   • Ensure the application is completed and received by the designated deadline of June 30th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Central Time.
   • Miss and Teen winners who complete application and payment by the deadline will be eligible for the grand prize.
4. Prize Details: The grand prize includes:
   • An all-expense-paid trip to Hollywood, CA to attend the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants from August 2nd to August 6th, 2024.
   • All-expense defined: Round-trip flight tickets, airport transport, hotel accommodation, and meals included ($100 per diem).
   • Both Miss Teen and Miss category winners are eligible for the trip.
   • Miss and Teen winners may bring one additional guest to accompany them on the trip (per diem excluded for guests and travel not included for guest - only room included for guest).  Any additional guests will be at their own expense.
   • Total prize value is estimated at $5,000.
5. Winner Selection: 
   • The Miss and Teen winners who complete registration and payment by the deadline.
   • Winners will be notified on the day of the pageant, July 27, 2024.
   • If a selected winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with these official contest rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
   • If the Purchase District Pageant Miss and Teen 2024 winners did NOT participate in this promotion, they will not be guaranteed this prize.
6. General Conditions:
   • Participants agree to abide by these official contest rules and the decisions of the Purchase District Pageant organizers, which shall be final and binding.
   • The grand prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
   • Participants release the Purchase District Pageant organizers, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability related to the promotion or acceptance and use of the prize.
   • The promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
   • Winners agree to be photographed and filmed during the trip and will be required to post on their personal social media and include mention of Purchase District Pageant.
   • Winners agree to follow a defined schedule and dress code during the trip. There will be plenty of free time, as well. By participating in the "We're Going to Hollywood" promotion, participants agree to be bound by these official contest rules and the decisions of the organizers.
   • The Purchase District Pageant is NOT a preliminary or in any way associated, affiliated or sponsored by the Miss USA organization.
